Catching Lobsters Can be Dangerous

Lobstering is not without some danger. You can get a hand or a foot caught in the lines and you could be dragged out to sea. The Atlantic Ocean is cold so you can imagine how that complicates things. Having oversized boots and gloves is a good thing, as if your boot gets caught and is it oversized, then your foot will easily come out preventing you from going overboard. Accidental deaths do happen for Lobster fisherman but usually it is because they are working alone. So, next time when you sit down to eat lobster don’t forget to give thanks for the guy who caught him and pray for safe journeys.
